MS, 인텔 N200 CPU 탑재 '서피스 고 4' 발표.. 가격 76만원부터

  21일(현지시간) 마이크로소프트(MS)가 미국 뉴욕에서 열린 서피스 이벤트에서 신형 '서피스 고 4(Surface Go 4 for Business)'를 발표했다. 이번에 발표된 '서피스 고 4'는 이전 모델과 달리 기업용으로 판매된다. 가장 큰 변화는 새로운 인텔 N200 쿼드코어 프로세서다. MS는 "서피스 고 4의 윈도우 11 프로 버전 성능이 이전 버전보다 80% 더 빨라졌다"고 주장했다.  10.5인치 픽셀 센스 디스플레이(1920×1280, 220PPI)는 이전 모델과 동일하며 크기와 무게 역시 동일하다. 또, 서피스 고 4에서는 4GB 버전이 제거됐으며 8GB LPDDR3 램 및 64/128/256GB UFS 스토리지 옵션으로 제공된다.  카메라는 5MP 전면 카메라 및 8MP 후면 카메라가 제공되며 이전 모델과 동일한 ▲USB-C포트 ▲서피스 커넥트 포트 ▲microSDXC ▲3.5mm 헤드폰 잭을 지원한다. 또한, 서피스 고 4는 수리가 쉬운 설계를 통해 디스플레이, 킥스탠드, 마더보드 등 모든 것을 교체할 수 있다.  MS는 기업용 채널을 통해 '서피스 고 4'를 판매할 예정이다. 출시 날짜 및 가격은 공개하지 않았지만, 더 버지는 "서피스 고 4가 10월 3일 출시될 예정이며, 가격은 64GB 버전이 579달러(약 76만원)부터 시작될 것"이라고 전했다.

애플, 구형 아이폰용 'iOS 15.8.2' 업데이트 공개.. 중요한 버그 수정

  5일(현지시간) 애플이 iOS 16 버전을 지원하지 않는 구형 애플 기기를 위한 iOS 15.8.2 업데이트를 공개했다. 애플은 "이 업데이트는 중요한 버그 수정이 포함되어 있으며 모든 사용자에게 권장된다"고 밝혔다. 업데이트는 설정 > 일반 > 소프트웨어 업데이트를 통해 설치할 수 있다.  한편, 애플은 최근 iOS 17.4 정식 업데이트도 공개했다. iOS 17.4 업데이트에서는 ▲유럽에서 타사 앱 스토어 지원 ▲새로운 이모티콘 추가 ▲애플 팟캐스트 개선 ▲도난당한 기기 보호에 모든 위치에서 보안을 강화하는 옵션 추가 ▲아이폰15 및 아이폰15 프로 모델의 경우 설정 앱의 배터리 성능 상태에 배터리 사이클 수, 제조일, 처음 사용에 관한 정보 표시 외에 기타 새로운 기능 추가 및 버그가 수정됐다.

iOS 17.4.1 마이너 업데이트, 이르면 이번주 출시되나

  애플이 이르면 이번 주 후반 iOS 17.4.1 업데이트를 출시할 수 있다는 전망이 나왔다. 11일(현지시간) 해외 IT 매체 맥루머스는 자사 웹사이트 로그를 기반으로 "애플이 아이폰용 iOS 17.4.1 업데이트를 준비하고 있다"고 보도했다. iOS 17.4.1은 소프트웨어 버그 수정 또는 보안 취약점을 수정한 마이너 업데이트로 추정된다.  매체는 "iOS 17.4.1 업데이트가 언제 출시될지는 확실하지 않지만, 로그에 표시된 업데이트 내용을 볼 때 이번 주 또는 다음 주 출시될 가능성이 높다"고 전했다. 한편, 애플은 iOS 17.5 버전의 내부 테스트를 시작했으며 조만간 베타 테스트를 시작할 예정이다.
