Sound offers six modes that empower you to connect with the people and experiences that matter most to you. Each mode is powered by a harmonious relationship between the Human app and device. These include: Fade, Amplify, Social, Speak, Active and Sleep.
SHARE AUDIO WITH OTHERS - Social's "one-touch sharing" allows multiple listeners to share and enjoy audio in live-time. The days of sharing links to songs or videos are over and the head-phone splitter is no longer necessary.

- Search for other Sound listeners, via the app, and enjoy audio with them - in live-time.
- Accept or deny share requests from other Human listeners.
AMBIENT NOISE CONTROL - Fade activates an ambient noise system to block out your external environment, or increase it's volume. Fade ultimately allows the listener to have a connective experience with the world, while enjoying their personal audio. Hear and converse with a workout partner while enjoying your gym playlist and be aware of oncoming traffic while podcasting during your bike ride to work.
Fade offers three experiences:
- Connect with and be aware of your surroundings by increasing the volume of your external environment.
- Select noise-isolation to block out the world for private listening.
- Adjust the volume of your surroundings while enjoying audio and content from a bluetooth device.
LOUDSPEAKER MODE - Bring both earphones together to turn Sound into a loudspeaker that truly fills the room during any gathering or party. Sound's two high decibel drivers and our reverb chamber make it all happen.

- Experience a rich loudspeaker experience with a small group of friends.
- Use both Amplify and Social features, simultaneously, to connect multiple Sound units to the same audio source -- and fill the largest of spaces with a truly booming sound.
CONVERSATIONAL LANGUAGE TRANSLATION - Have a bilingual conversation with other Sound users, by utilizing Sound's live-time language translations system. Sound currently supports up to 8 different languages.
BIO-METRIC MONITORING - In and around the ear is one of the strongest pulses on the human body. Receive accurate stats, in live-time, on your physical activity and health.
REST SMART - Be lulled to sleep with noise-isolating rhythms and track sleep cycles in low-power mode. Then, be gently awoken via your preferred playlist or alarm.
Sound contains a suite of custom hardware components that no earbud can match, they enable Touch and Button-less Control and All Day Battery.
CAPACITIVE TOUCH CONTROL - Sound's touch-control system transcends other touch technologies by taking advantage of the device's outer real estate. Using natural human motion, listeners can execute multiple playback controls -- including volume adjustment, pause, play, skip a track, replaying a track, accept/deny call, and additional feature controls.
12+ HOURS - Our large battery allows you to listen throughout each and every part of your day and it's charged via a wireless induction charging pad.
INTUITIVE CONTROL - Power Sound to life by simply pulling the earphones apart and turn Sound off by bringing the earphones together. Once the earphones are brought together, Sound enters low-power mode. The hardware then shuts down, when left untouched. Activating Amplify on your app, overrides low-energy mode.
Pause audio by removing Sound from your ears. Resume playback by placing Sound back on your ears.
