Finding a great manufacturer is hard, and we don’t want to trade quality for quick and cheap production. Thinking towards quality, for every 1000 YERKA® units sold, we will deliver them in batches with a month of separation, the first one starts shipping in October.

We also want to hear and learn from you--your suggestions and feedback will not only help us improve our project, but will also be implemented into our rewards and further bicycle designs. We know this is an ambitious project, but we are certain that with your help YERKA® will become a worldwide reality.
A GREAT TEAM
Most people learn to walk before they run... we learned to ride before we walked! We have a deep love for the cycling, and we also know what it feels like to lose a bike to theft. We are three engineering students who had enough of getting our bicycles stolen and wanted to create a solution.
For us, Indiegogo is not just a way to get this thrilling project to you, it is a way to hear from and learn from you. With your help and support we know we can get this to the whole world.
As Engineering students we acquired all of the skills and knowledge necessary to bring this project to life.
From a young age our whole team always had great interests in robotics, design, and technology; always creating and testing and finding solutions--constantly wanting to do more. All of this prepared us for the complicated task at hand which required advanced knowledge of sophisticated laser cutting and lathe machines, 3D Printers, metal work, and welding.
Our hard work and life-long passion paid off; we won the PRECITYE contest (Regional Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme in Engineering), an OTT contest (Technology Transfer Office) at our University, and were finalists in the last Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum hosted in Santiago, Chile.
We’ve since added on to our team and are working with the most accomplished experts out there, like Mikaela, one of the finest 3D Designers in the world; and Cristián Haquin, a serial entrepreneur, bluetooth developing expert, excellent solution provider, and Co- Founder of Azumi Mobile Phone Company.
