What is it?
The Luma Rock & Roller is a 3-in-1 eco-friendly rocker, walker, and roller for toddlers.
With its unique, patent-pending design, switching between rocker and roller mode takes only a few seconds.
Designed for 9 months to 4 year olds, it first starts out as a rocker to help develop gross motor and balancing skills. As the child starts walking, it becomes a push walker to help with steady, evenly paced steps. After walking has been mastered, it becomes a ride-on roller car to sit on and push - either by someone else or with their own legs.

The Rock & Roller is designed to quickly and easily switch back and forth between rocker and roller mode.
Our all-natural hardwood baltic birch is as good as it gets. It provides incredible strength and durability and critically important to us, it's not plastic.
The wheels are adjustable to roll faster or slower, depending on the child’s needs. They feature ball bearing hubs with a wheel durometer rating of 89a for a long-lasting, sturdy ride.
All components are precision CNC-milled to produce an accurate, reliable design while still providing the classic features of finely finished wood.
Patent-Pending Design
The Rock & Roller is designed to quickly and easily switch back and forth between roller and rocker mode. Unscrew the locks, flip it over, and lock it back into place. It uses a locking screw on both sides for additional safety and avoids any accidental unlocking. This is unique design is patent-pending.
Recommended Ages
Overall age recommendation: 9 months - 4 years
Starting at about 9 months, children that are learning to stand up but can’t quite walk yet will enjoy the fun of rocking back and forth in rocker mode.
At about 12 months - 16 months, as they’re learning to walk, they’ll switch over to roller mode and begin pushing their Rock & Roller. They’ll use the built-in shelf to store and transport their favorite toys.
At about 20 months, they’re tall enough and strong enough to push themselves in roller mode. Similar to balance bikes, they’ll learn to push and lift their legs as they roll. Their confidence will begin to build and before you know it, they’re ready to blast off at full speed. This will last up until about the age 4 depending on the child's height and weight.

The Rock & Roller Story
Five years ago, when our first child was born, we wanted to make him a motorcycle rocker by hand. All-wood, handcrafted, designed to last. It took months of learning and making lots of mistakes but we finally did it and he still loves it to this day.
Now, with our second child, we wanted to build another rocker except this time around we’re much wiser as parents. We understand how quickly the phases of child development come and go. So we didn’t want to build just a rocker. We wanted to build a rocker, a walker, and a ride-on roller car – things we know she’s going to need over the next couple years. And then we realized we’re not the only parents with this problem.
So we got to work, designing numerous variations and prototypes. We wanted this rocker to be ready for mass production but with uncompromised, handmade craftsmanship. We embraced new technology that allows us to create handcrafted quality at mass production costs. This wasn’t possible just five years ago.
We used our backgrounds in product design and engineering to create the perfect mechanism to quickly switch between the two modes. We let our own kids play with prototypes and they taught us more than we could have ever imagined. After months of development, we finally came to a version 1.0 that we really love and we’re really proud of.
Finally, with a mastered design, we’re ready to share with the world and hope we can have others enjoy the Rock & Roller as much as we do!

Hi, I’m Dzuy, owner of Luma Goods Co., designer of the Rock & Roller.
Luma Goods is family-run shop that was founded on the idea of designing and making multi-functional toys and furniture for kids. It's named after our two young kids, Luna + Mason.
As any parent knows, kids go through products really fast, especially at the younger ages. And I think if we use this opportunity to design products that last longer and are more useful, we could create less environmental waste while providing more bang for buck for parents over the long term.
After nearly 20 years as a designer, engineer, and inventor, I’ve turned my attention to making meaningful products that are designed last.
Having kids has sharpened my focus like never before and has truly opened my eyes to a world of problems that are begging to be solved.
